The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
Receive and thoroughly analyze requests from donors, using all available resources; determine and follow-through with appropriate response to donor and others to ensure both customer satisfaction and effective internal procedures.
Analyze cause(s) of processing errors; communicate suggestions on ways to eliminate further occurrences to appropriate personnel.
Handle all communication to donors with a high level of confidentiality and professional courtesy.
Determine appropriate course of action related to all donation inquiries, including unique and complex donor and staff questions.
Represent the ministry and aid in writing new policies to communicate to the public and CCCI Ministries in the area of financial accountabilities and policies regarding donations, processing procedures, tax deductibility and enforce IRS regulations.
Administer current IRS and Campus Crusade policies regarding the handling of donations and the eligibility of tax-deductible items.
Educate and inform staff and donors on current processing procedures
Create reports to be used as a quality control resource for the processing areas.
Provide detailed reporting on processed work to DSG Team Leaders and Group Leader. Report trends and repetitive errors and escalate items to appropriate parties when necessary.
Create and run queries providing information to donors, staff and ministries as needed or requested.
Request confidential information to make decisions on proper receipting and account set ups and determine when to make legal inquisitions. Communicate when needed with our legal department for advice and actions to be taken in legal matters.
Monitor major reporting (i.e.: giving reports) to donors and advise on donor feedback or incorrect data on reports.
Handle all calls that escalate from the Representatives in Donation Services, Staff Services and Financial Services regarding complaints or complicated questions on donations.
Provide the Representatives for the areas with updated information on legal questions and current issues for accurate and timely answers to donors and staff.
Compose written correspondence, email and faxes when responding to questions and complaints. Maintain filing system of all appropriate records and provide items for auditors in a timely manner on an annual basis.
Inform customers of obligations to IRS for changes on tax deductibility of processed donations.
Maintain coordination and contact with the HR PeopleSoft system and the donor system for accuracy and integrity of information. Report and follow-up on any inaccuracies.
Experience and Skills
Associate Degree in business administration
1 Year of Experience 1 or equivalent combination of education and experience
