IMA Medical Group is looking to hire a Full-Time Senior Accounting Analyst. This position offers competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop precise revenue forecasts based on historical data and market trends
Reconcile Medicare Advantage (MA) revenue monthly
Follow-up with MA Plans on reconciling items or incomplete data
Perform revenue variance analysis monthly
Allocate and analyze Capitation revenue cash received
Allocate and analyze Fee-for-Service revenue cash received
Review Sales & Telemarketing monthly/quarterly enrollment commissions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; Prepare calculations
Review Broker services files to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; Prepare calculations
Liaise between Accounting and Sales regarding Broker and Sales-related questions as it pertains to payment eligibility
Assist with Accounting validation of Broker contracts and supporting documentation
Assist with ad-hoc data and analysis requests; Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Assist with the build-out of SOP documentation for the Accounting & Finance department

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Healthcare experience
3+ years of relevant experience
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Time management and ability to multi-task
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines and priorities
Highly self-motivated and proactive problem solver who can work independently and collaborate through strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player that can build effective working relationships with others in the department and organization
Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in Accounting and keep current with developments and trends
Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred

Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
CPA license (or in progress)
QuickBooks and NetSuite experience
Experience with Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment
