The Opportunity!

At Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, as a Fleet Manager, you will be expected to perform many organizational and management tasks to monitor, maintain, and improve Goodwill Industries of Central Florida’s (GICF) company fleet including all company cars.

A Day in the Life of a Fleet Manager!

You will find yourself:

Researching the best vehicle types and build a fleet while supervising vehicle procurement, based on GICF’s approved budget.
Administering the processing and maintenance of vehicle licenses and registration, including insurance.
Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits through fleet management.
Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspections.
Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation laws and regulations.
Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
Ensure strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.

Qualifications
Physical and Environmental Work Conditions:

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds independently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Standing and walking for long periods of time.
Perform work outside and inside; exposure to weather conditions, dust, dirt, electricity, noise, fumes, and chemicals.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud (examples: metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment).

Education and/or Experience:

High School education or equivalent is required. Bachelor's dehgree in related field is preferred.
A minimum of four (4) years' logoistics experience and three (3) years' in a supervisory role.
Prefer working experience with people who have disabilities and/or previous Goodwill experience.
