Overview

At Orange County Government, we are proud to serve the public with integrity, honesty, fairness, and professionalism. We develop innovative policies and services that impact Central Florida and shape the future of our community. The Orange County Corrections Department (OCCD) operates the third largest jail system in the State of Florida with more than 1,500 employees. It serves and protects the citizens of Orange County by providing for the care, custody, and control of legally incarcerated inmates in a safe and secure environment, and provides services for those individuals supervised in community programs.
