Description
SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Team Leader, responsible for assisting in generating revenue and controlling expenses, supervision of personnel, scheduling, reporting, supplies, safety, and security and providing exceptional customer service to employees and customers.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Ensures 100% world-class customer service.
The ATL hires, trains, develops, supervises and evaluates team members within the framework of Goodwill policies and procedures and job descriptions.
Operates the store within budgeted expense to revenue ratios and by donors per square foot.
Ensures good stewardship of all donations, through proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of GICF policies and procedures.
The ATL schedules/maintains labor and payroll in accordance with GICF policies and procedures.
Responsible for image, maintenance, loss prevention, safety, and security of the store in accordance with GICF policies and procedures.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies and all other GICF property in a secured manner in accordance with established budget and practices.
Under the supervision of the Team Leader (TL), the ATL is responsible for:
Cash handling and end of day (EOD) reports
Monthly safety site inspection (Audits)
Stock on Hand (SOH)
Donation verification
Paycom reporting
Incident/Accident reports
Petty cash and expense reports
Purchase and supply orders
Monthly store leadership reports
Floor allocation by pieces per square foot
Monthly team meeting minutes
Weekly scheduling with two weeks scheduled for all Keyholders and sales floor staff
All reports completed in an accurate and timely manner
Work order requests (Facility Maintenance and Information Technology (IT) support)
Is aware of and helps aid Team Leader and Production Manager with production goals.
Maintains compliance with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facility (CARF) standards.
Keeps informed of product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing through comparative shopping of competitors (e.g., full or discount retail, consignment, and second-hand thrift.)
Performs assigned duties and management responsibilities within the framework of our Guiding Principles.
Attends in-service and related training as assigned.
May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
Performs other duties as assigned by the TL.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability utilized while performing this job.

Ability to adhere to the organizations Core Principles.
Ability to operate a cash register, calculator and basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and or direction from Team Leader.
Knowledge of product recalls and unacceptable donated goods.
Skilled in maintaining inventory, sales, and store records.
Ability to effectively supervise, train (develop) and mentor team members.

Education and/or Experience:

High School education or equivalent is required. College education or equivalent of five (5) years retail management preferred. A minimum of five (5) years retail and three (3) years supervisory experience is required. Prefer working experience with people who have disabilities and/or previous Goodwill experience.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Regularly lift and/or move 20 to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Able to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time.
Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion; i.e., tagging or hanging clothes. Manual dexterity is required.

Math Ability:

Level 3: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as variances, discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and area (square footage). Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have beginner knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Language Ability:

Level 3: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Reasoning Ability:

Level 4: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has supervisory responsibilities including supervision of subordinate supervisors (Keyholders).

Purchasing Authority:

No purchasing authority with the exception of ordering supplies approved by Team Leader.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Must have reliable means of transportation.
Scheduling: Must close the store at least 2 times per week.
