Job Summary

The Enterprise Project Manager at Lake-Sumter State College is responsible for managing the full life cycle of technical projects and initiatives, from initiation to closure across the institution. This role involves collaborating with all departments, serving as a team leader for project committees, and partnering with administration, staff, and faculty to achieve objectives. The position ensures consistent project management practices for all departments across the institution, enabling successful delivery of initiatives that align with the college's mission and strategic goals.

Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating and Celebrating.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior management across the College to identify and manage technical projects supporting the college's strategic plan and goals.

Define project scope and create detailed work plans, identifying and sequencing activities for successful project completion.
Determine and allocate resources required for project completion.
Develop and manage project schedules, revising as necessary in consultation with senior management and affected staff.
Establish objectives and evaluation measures for project completion.
Maintain a communication schedule to update stakeholders on project progress, including maintaining project plans on the college's intranet.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Oversee key programs such as Ellucian Workflow and the LMS system Instructure Canvas.
Support the institution in producing training materials for the college.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervision

Depending on department growth and needs, may supervise up to 2 FTE.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proficiency in using project management tools to track performance and schedule adherence.
Ability to handle multiple assignments through effective prioritization and time management.
Strong documentation and communication skills for reporting project status and issues.
Critical human relations skills for effective collaboration with the college community.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong technology skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and organization.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications & Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field required or four years of directly related full-time work experience.
Minimum of three years of experience in computer development work with a project-based focus and experience working with teams.
Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM) and Lean Six Sigma preferred.
