Responsibilities

DESCRIPTION:

The Carpenter performs skilled trades work at the journeyman level in maintaining and repairing College buildings, locks, and hardware in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and College policies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
2. Three years of experience in the carpentry or locksmith trades.
3. Valid Florida driver’s license or the ability to obtain a Florida driver’s license within 30 days of employment, with acceptable driving record.

This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference.
